Woman on fateful flight a text -driven husband minutes before the air in the air

    A 26-year-old woman who was on board the PSA Airlines flight who collided on Wednesday with a military helicopter, text her man minutes before their planned landing in Washington, DC

    Her husband, Hamaad Raza, revealed her text in an interview with CBS Affiliate Station Wusa 9.

    “We land in 20,” read her text. Raza responded, but not all his messages were delivered.

    “That's when I realized that there might be something,” he said.

    Raza seemed desperate as he waited with a family member for updates near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

    He said his wife to Wichita, Kansas went for work and was always afraid of flying.

    “I just pray that someone now pulls her out of the river while we speak,” said Raza. “That's all I can pray for.”

    Raza said he had not received any updates from American Airlines, who owns PSA, and only heard about the incident via social media.

    Dozens of being feared after the passenger plane collided with a Black Hawk Army -Helicopter and crashed around 9 pm in the Potomac River near the Reagan airport

    Emergency service searches the river late at night to see if one of the 67 people involved in the crash is still alive.

    The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
