“The View” co-host of Whoopi Goldberg lashed out to Democrats on Wednesday while discussing a fragment of the new book by former vice-president Kamala Harris and insisted that they had “had to keep their mouth shut” about the decline of the former President Joe Biden.
“If the Democrats had kept their mouth shut and looked, hold on, hear what I say, if they had kept their mouths shut and had taken care of it in the house, in contrast to making a public spectacle, I think people would have a better feeling about it,” Goldberg said.
Harris described Biden's decision to run again as “reckless” in the fragment that was published by the Atlantic this week.
“People like to go back and say what we should have done. We should have had a better campaign. We should have had a better campaign. People wanted to hear what they heard. They got what they wanted. I don't understand why we had to put it again. It happened, and now we are all in it,” Goldberg went on.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said she did not agree with Goldberg.
“I don't believe that the political parties should have a say in who a candidate is and who is chosen,” said Griffin. “There is no primary when there is a sitting president. And 75% of voters said they thought Biden was in order when he was in office, but was too old for a different term. That is the only way to say:” I have a problem. “
Co-host Sunny Hostin agreed with the argument of Harris that the deployment was too high with regard to Biden's decision to walk again.

“They had a huge comms team; they had Karine Jean-Pierre briefing in the press room every day. But something positive was said about my work, or some defense against false attacks, was almost impossible,” Harris wrote in her new book.
