Two arrested in connection with kidnapping of teenagers in Arkansas, officials say

Two people are behind bars after an amber warning was issued earlier this week for a 17-year-old girl from Arkansas.

Samuel Wayne Bolling, 38, of Nashville and Dayla Diane Ferrer, 19, of Memphis, have been arrested and charged with kidnapping, violent theft, first-degree assault and false imprisonment after Trynytee Case was taken after working on 18 April, a release said.

On April 19, just after 3 p.m., Case was found with minor injuries at the 4700 block of Central Avenue in Hot Spring, Ark. found at a liquor store and taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

During the investigation, the detectives came to two suspects, Bolling and Ferrer, and a possible location.

Just over two hours later, both were found on the 4800 block of Central Avenue and arrested without further incident, the release said.

According to previous reports, a colleague tried to call Case’s phone, but no one answered.

The colleague panicked and called the mother of the business. Then the mother tried to call Case’s phone, a release said.

After several attempts, Case finally answered and said, “Everything is fine.” Then there was what sounded like a man’s voice on the phone. Police said they demanded $10,000 for her return or they would kill and dismember the girl, reports said.

It was a scary situation for her family.

“Whoever has, just drop her off,” said Falisha Spoon, Trynytee Case’s grandmother.

Hot Springs Police said that’s exactly what happened yesterday afternoon.

Hours after we spoke to Spoon, the 17-year-old was found.

FOX13 discovered that Bolling is from the Nashville area and followed Ferrar to the Memphis area.

She lives in Atoka, Tennessee, just north of Memphis.

Local residents said they were surprised by the news.

“I’ve been here for three years now, and there’s never been anything like this before,” says Kayleen Yates.

As a neighbor, she said she moved to the area to get away from Memphis and the crime.

Yates told FOX13 it’s a peaceful and quiet neighborhood.

Kids play in the street, people walk their dogs, and for the most part, everyone knows everyone.

Now she has a different perspective.

“We moved to avoid that kind of thing, but that it’s come to our neighborhood I don’t know how to feel,” Yates said.

FOX13 has tried several times to talk to people in Ferrar’s house, but they are unable to speak at the moment.

Bolling and Ferrer were taken to the Hot Springs Police Department and are currently being held in the Garland County Detention Center without bail.
