Donald Trump said he is considering sending more Patriot racking systems to Ukraine while he renewed the calls to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin to end the war.
The president added that this does not exclude a new defense assistant package when he spoke with reporters at NATO top in the Netherlands on Wednesday.
Trump, who has surrounded himself with isolationist advisers who publicly opposes continuous support for Kiev for Kiev, replied: “We will see what happens” When he is asked if the US would contribute to the $ 8 billion that was promised by the NATO allies as part of the continuous support of Bloc's 32-person block.

Speaking at a press conference on the heels of a sit-down with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Mr. Trump said that there was “a lot of spirit” in Ukraine's struggle against the invasion that Putin ordered in February 2022.
Trump also seemed to shift the fault for the continuation and escalation of the war to Putin, which marked a dramatic reversal of how he characterized the situation during a controversial Oval Office meeting with Zensky earlier this year.
“Vladimir Putin really has to put an end to that war,” said the president. “People die at levels that people have never seen before.”
He told reporters how he had reprimanded Putin during a recent phone call after the Russian leader offered to put an end to the hostilities between Israel and Iran, and emphasized that he would rather end that he put an end to the conflict in Ukraine.

Later he added that Putin has been “harder” than Zensky, with whom Trump has had a controversial relationship that goes back to his first term, when a phone call with the Ukrainian leader launched a scandal that led to the first of his two deposition tests in the Senate.
Trump's relationship with Putin has long been much friendlier, but even that seemed to be sour in recent months, because the Russian dictator has continued to bind civilian goals in Ukraine with drones and missiles, complicate thousands of deaths and efforts of Trump to both parties to the negotiating table in Cajole.
In April he became so furious with Putin's attacks on civilians that he took social to encourage the Russian leader to stop the attacks and go to the negotiating table, write: “Vladimir, stop! 5,000 soldiers who die for a week. Let's get the peace agreement to each other!”
Since then, he has imposed the possibility of imposing hard new sanctions on Moscow as Putin refuses to collaborate on the efforts led by the US to achieve an arrangement in the three -year conflict.

The changed view of the president of the war and the fault of Putin also became clear when he had an emotional exchange with a reporter for the Ukrainian service of the BBC, who asked if the US was willing to sell more patriot anti-air missiles to Ukraine.
Last year the BIDEN administration announced that they would give priority to deliveries of Patriot -under -creators to Ukraine because of the Russian accelerated pace of air strikes against citizens and infrastructure, but KYIV had to expand their use of the rockets and has run low on them.
Trump asked the reporter if she was currently living in Ukraine, at what point she replied that she was located in Warsaw with her children while her husband stayed in Ukraine.
The president replied, “That's rough things.” He asked the journalist again to confirm that she lived outside of Ukraine and worked as a reporter, and answered “well” when she answered in the affirmative.
'Just let me tell you, she [Ukraine] Do you want to have the anti-missile missiles, as they call them, the patriots, and we will see if we can make something available, “he said.
Trump added that such weapons were “very difficult to get” and “very effective”, while he admitted that the US had given priority to supplies for Israel in the midst of the constant wars of that country.
“They want that more than any other thing, as you probably know,” he said before he “praised very good question” and told her to say “hello” to her husband for him.
The apparent openness of Trump to send more American assistance to Ukraine comes when the 32 NATO member countries promised to “reconfirm” what they described as “permanent sovereign obligations to provide support to Ukraine”, the Ukrainian safety efforts call a contribution to the own safety of De Navo.
The Alliance also promised to include “direct contributions to Ukraine defense” as part of the efforts to make each country meet a threshold to spend five percent of gross domestic product on the defense.
