Trump reportedly told the people around him that he is more popular than Swift, warned that she would be 'unfaithful' if she would endorse the then President Joe Biden and explained: “I hate Taylor Swift” when they were then vice-president Kamala Harris in the last year supported election.
Swift had largely disappeared from politics for a large part of her career and nobody endorsed in the 2016 elections, when Trump defeated Hillary Clinton. She was more pronounced about her progressive views during Trump's first term of office and ended Biden in 2020.
