    • Donald Trump made comments about Joe Biden’s ability to lead at a rally in Ohio on Saturday.

    • He referenced several viral moments with Biden captured on video.

    • Trump also said the country was run by “a deranged group of extremists”.

After a rant about federal water flow restrictions for showerheads, former President Donald Trump decided to dig a dig at President Joe Biden during his Saturday meeting in Ohio.

“We’ve never had anything like this and unfortunately we now have a president who has absolutely no idea what the hell is going on,” Trump said.

“Our country is going to hell,” Trump said. “He shakes hands with the air. He walks around a bit bewildered – I’d say it’s not good – taking orders from the Easter Bunny.’

Trump apparently referenced a few of Biden’s recent viral moments, including one in which a person in an Easter bunny costume appeared to refer him as he greeted supporters.

He also referred to a video of Biden raising his open hand after a speech. Some said it looked like he was trying to shake hands with the air.

Since then, fact-checkers have said that Biden was actually gesturing to a crowd.

Trump urged voters to vote Republican lest they want to keep America in a “crime death spiral” and said America was led by a “bruised group of extremists” while criticizing Biden’s energy policies. “We are running on liquid gold and they want us to buy from Venezuela,” Trump said.

Representatives for Biden and Trump did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
