President Donald Trump seemed to be a bit confused on Tuesday when he tried to lobe an insult to his predecessor during a speech in Fort Bragg.
“I have known this guy for a long time,” Trump said about former President Joe Biden. “He was never the sharpest lamp.”
Trump also came in a second excavation at Biden and said he was only of common sense “a long time ago.”
But it was his confusion between “sharpest tools” and “brightest ball” that relieved social media when the president's critics fell back:
