Tudor Dixon, the Republican gubernatorial candidate in Michigan, said at a recent meeting that her opponent has a “women’s dream” of being single and working before seemingly disgracing them.
Dixon, who has previously suggested rape victims could be cured of having children and concocted what Twitter users labeled the “worst political ad ever,” spoke to attendees about families and said “a lot of people” want them.
The GOP candidate, who has endorsed former President Donald Trump and considered a “conservative warrior”, claimed that incumbent Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) does not “support” families “unless they look exactly like she wants.”
Seconds later, Dixon described this alleged lack of support, using her speech to humiliate single, working women.
“[That] looks like single mothers, no, not single mothers, single women working,” she said.
“That’s like her dream for women, single women who work. The last time I checked that was quite a lonely life.’

Twitter users criticized the Republican on Friday for her comments, including one who said the comment “doesn’t even save.”
