A week after removing an article about Jackie Robinson from the Pentagon website, the Trump administration is said to have been returned.
A biography about Jackie Robinson has been identified as a candidate for removal from the Nimitz library at the US Naval Academy because of a directive by Minister of Defense Pete Hegseeth who orders the school to identify books with diversity, fairness and inclusion themes, according to the New York Timees.

The Robinson Biography is reportedly one of the 900 books that have been identified as contrary to the order, with other examples, including “The Autobiography or Martin Luther King Jr.” and “Einstein about race and racism.”
The statement of the Naval Academy, via NYT:
“The US Naval Academy is fully committed to carrying out and implementing all guidelines set out in executive orders published by the president and currently assesses the Nimitz Library Collection to guarantee compliance,” said CMDR. Tim Hawkins, a spokesperson for the Navy. “The navy carries out these actions with the greatest professionalism, efficiency and in accordance with the objectives of national security.”
Allegedly HegseTh is planned to visit the Naval Academy on Tuesday. It is unclear whether the marked books will be removed before his arrival.
The step to remove the Robinson biography comes less than two weeks after the Trump administration received a flood of criticism for the removal of an article about the Army career of the Dodgers -legend of the website of the Ministry of Defense, as well as articles such as the Navajo Code Talkers and the first black receiver of the Medal or Honor.

The article in question, which discussed how Robinson was once the courts of the court because he refused to go to the back of a bus, was later restored.
When asked for comments from Jeff Passan of ESPN, Pentagon Press secretary John Ullyot published a statement that doubled the administration against diversity initiatives and the implication of some content can be accidentally removed.
That statement was criticized on a large scale and another statement was quickly released with the following first paragraph:
“Everyone at the Ministry of Defense loves Jackie Robinson, as well as the Navajo code -Praters, the Tuskege Airmen, the Marines at Iwo Jima and so many others -we greet them for their strong and in many cases heroic service for our country, to be fully seen or to be assigned by the prisse of the prism, just like the prism. have worn uniform “
Robinson served in the army from 1942 to 1944 as a second lieutenant in the 761st Tankbataljon. That unity became the first black tank unit to see fights in the Second World War. Robinson was unable to joined them because of his martial council for protesting against a racist policy. He was later acquitted and continued to break the color barrier of MLB.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, the 10 -year -old Robinson team, announced earlier this week that they will visit President Trump in the White House to celebrate their 2024 World Series title in April, the same month that they are celebrating Jackie Robinson Day.
