In now-viral videos, Trudeau is caught busting out dance moves and appearing fascinated by Taylor Swift's performance. To add to the fun, he took part in the Eras Tour tradition of trading friendship bracelets with nearby Swifties.

Who would have guessed that the Prime Minister was a Swiftie?
Trudeau's carefree evening on the Eras Tour sparked outrage when anti-NATO demonstrations turned violent during his home ride through Montreal on Friday evening. Police reported smashed windows and fires during the protest when the city hosted the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
At around 6:10 p.m., demonstrators set fire to a mannequin in the middle of the crowd and began marching together, throwing objects including smoke bombs and metal barriers onto the streets to hinder police work. CBC News reports.
Trudeau's appearance on the Eras Tour has drawn mixed reactions
When news broke of the Prime Minister's debut on the Eras Tour, Canadians didn't hesitate and rushed to social media to share their thoughts on the Prime Minister in his Swiftie era.
The leader of Canada's Conservative Party quickly noted his thoughts on the social media sharing: “Trudeau plays while Montreal burns.”
One social media user simply said, “Canada is lost,” as videos of the Prime Minister dancing the night away filled social media.
“The city is on fire and like Roman Emperor Nero, Trudeau is partying,” another X user noted.
In line with the outrage, this Canadian simply wrote: “I'd say he looks like the biggest loser in the world.”
Should Trudeau have left the concert and calmed the rioters in Montreal? This X user thinks so.
