Tribute to 'vibrant' couple found dead in camper

A couple found dead in a camper van while attending a festival in the New Forest were “lively, friendly and dedicated”, their family say.

Christopher Coll, 45, and Kayleigh Coll, 38, both from Blandford Forum in Dorset were pronounced dead at the scene on Pound Lane, Burley, earlier this month.

Hampshire Constabulary said the deaths were being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

A tribute to the family said: “Their loss has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who loved them.”

Police said officers were alerted by paramedics called to the “unexpected deaths” of two people in the vehicle shortly after 12pm BST on October 12.

In a police statement, their family said: “Chris and Kayleigh were much loved by all who knew them – lively, friendly and devoted to their family.

“Our priority now is to protect and support their children and give our families the privacy and time we need to grieve.

The statement added that Mr and Mrs Coll's family were “cooperating fully with authorities as they completed their investigation”.

A crowdfunding page to help support the family has raised more than £20,000.

Police said a file had been prepared for the coroner.
