Cornerback Kelvin Joseph, a second round trek by the cowboys in 2021, is accused of a crash in Dallas who killed a motorcyclist on Saturday morning.
A 27-year-old woman was declared dead on the scene of a 5-hour crash that closed northern lanes of US Highway 75 for more than three hours, per Wfaa.

Joseph himself called the police shortly thereafter in Plano to report that he had been involved in a crash with a motorcycle. Authorities observed signs of intoxication during their conversation with the 25-year-old cornerback; He was later arrested and accused of DWI and collision with regard to personal injury or death.
According to the police, there were no other vehicles or people at the crash location and the highway was opened again later.
The cowboys exchanged Joseph after just two seasons and sent him to Miami prior to the 2023 campaign. Since then he had spent time with Seattle, Kansas City, Indianapolis and Minnesota, although he did not take the field for all those clubs. He was signed in February by the DC defenders of the UFL.
After his Rookie season, Joseph was the subject of a study in March 2022 after a 20-year-old man Dallas was shot and killed outside a nightclub in the Lower Greenville district. Joseph originally got a 'person of interest' in the case after security video helped him identify by a chain in diamonds with his rap name. He claimed through his lawyer that he was a passenger in the car from which the shots were fired, but he denied being the shooter. After a meeting with researchers, Joseph was officially cleaned up and two men from Joseph's birthplace Baton Rouge were arrested.

The cowboys were at Joseph and he played the following season in 16 games.
