Worcester – The Italian heritage parade of Shrewsbury Street will be held on Sunday 5 October.
When
Parade starts at noon.
Where
Parade starts at Route 9 (Belmont Street) end of Shrewsbury Street and walks to the west, to Washington Square. The route will be in the western lanes. Paradegoers can set up on the sidewalk or the median. The eastern lane is closed for regular traffic.
Parade -participants
The Line -up will contain around 50 groups, including high school bands, cheer teams, mascots, trade union groups and antique cars.
Major
Joseph Falcone, a Worcesterite of Italian descent that grew up on Grafton Hill. He runs Falcone Enterprises.

The mayor of this year becomes a member of the Dianna Biancheria school committee. Miss Italian heritage is Giana Porcaro.
