Several people killed by subways in NYC: civil servants

    Brooklyn, NY (PIX11) – Separate incidents in the metro stations of Brooklyn and Manhattan resulted in two dead on Sunday, according to officials.

    One person was touched and killed by a metro train on the Sutter Avenue station near Snediker Avenue in Brooklyn around 6 pm, according to officials.

    L -trains are with delays in both directions after emergency aid, the MTA announced.

    A second person was hit and killed by a train on the East Broadway station near Canal Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan somewhere after 7 p.m., the police confirmed.

    The F-trains were diverted to the A-line between W 4th ST-Washington Square and Jay St-Metrotech stations in both directions while the emergency aid teams worked. MTA said that trains have resumed services with delays.

    The police said that both incidents had not involved any crime, and both victims were walking between trainutos before they died.
