“Last night was a terrible attack on Kyiv with several drones, hundreds of drones and missiles. And in fact a building across the European Union's delegation was actually seriously damaged. And a car in our parking lot was damaged by rubble.”
Glass facade was ruined on different floors and an outside wall was damaged on two floors.
The Russian attack also damaged Saint Sophia Cathedral, a UNESCO world heritage site in the historic center of Kiev, the Ukrainian culture of Culture Mykola Heenytskyi, said.
One person died in the attack on Kiev, the city authorities said.
At least four people were treated in the hospital after seven of the 10 districts had hit the capital, city officials said.
