Roger Stone Says Trump ‘Smashes His Brain’ When He Runs Again

Republican political agent Roger Stone is featured in new documentary footage that threatens to back Donald Trump’s second impeachment and say the former president would lose if he tried to flee again in 2024.

“I’m done with this president,” Trump’s longest-serving political adviser said during a phone call in the clip, reportedly filmed Jan. 20, 2021. “I’m going to publicly support impeachment. I have no choice.”

“He has to go. Run again! You’re getting fucking brains,” he adds. It’s not clear who he was on the phone with.

Trump was impeached for the second time on January 13, 2021 for inciting riots at the Capitol. His Senate trial, which eventually acquitted him, began the following month.

The footage was released on Saturday by Danish filmmaker Christoffer Guldbrandsen, whose team was given permission to shadow Stone for more than two years, including during the months Stone worked behind the scenes on Trump’s bid to undo the 2020 election.

The Danish team’s documentary on that effort, ‘A Storm Foretold’, is scheduled for later this year.

Guldbrandsen told the Daily Beast the footage was from President Joe Biden’s inauguration day after Stone learned he would not receive a second presidential pardon to protect him from legal fallout from the January 6, 2021 uprising.

Stone was pardoned by Trump once in December 2020. He was sentenced to 40 months in prison for multiple offenses including tampering with witnesses, lying to Congress and obstructing the House investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in 2016, but Trump commuted his sentence before this one had even started.

In another clip of Stone’s angry phone call released Friday, he saw ranting about Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and calling Ivanka Trump an “abortion bitch.”

Guldbrandsen said Stone made the call in a car in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Stone called that video “fake,” but admitted he’s “not a fan” of Kushner or the former first daughter.

Stone’s mobile tirade was recently subpoenaed by the Jan. 6 House Committee but was not played during Thursday’s hearing.
