Houston police officers were called to Tai Loi at approximately 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, according to a police press release.

The officers did not find two men in a cubicle, each with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. They were pronounced dead at the west Houston restaurant.

The two victims and restaurant workers were the only ones in the restaurant when police arrived, KTRK reported.

Police said all the other customers had already left before the officers arrived.

According to the police report, 1 to 3 gunmen are believed to have fled.

The shooting is still under investigation, but police believe it may have been a targeted shooting, KRIV said.

    No other injuries were reported.
