Green River, Wyo. (AP) – A third victim was found in the wreck on Sunday by a fiery crash in a Wyoming Highway tunnel with 26 cars and trucks, officials said.
At least five people were seriously injured in Friday's accident along the Interstate 80 near the small town of Green River, Wyoming. The crash led to a fire in the tunnel that completely destroyed six commercial vehicles and two passenger vehicles.
The majority of the wreck was removed on Sunday, with fewer than 10 vehicles still in the tunnel, Sgt said. Jason Roascio with the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

But Snow delayed the work of federal and state researchers while they went through the vehicle to reconstruct the scene and determine what happened, he said.
“We hope this is the last fatality,” said Roascio.
Further details about the three victims still had to be released.
Photos distributed on Sunday showed the charred remains of two vehicles in the tunnel.
The crash took place in the western tube of the twin tunnel under Castle Rock, a sandstone formation that looms over the city of Green River in the southwestern region of the state.
The wreck and the subsequent fire closed the Interstate, the primary east-west road by Wyoming, and the traffic was diverted by Green River.
The eastern tunnel was expected to reopen on Wednesday and treat traffic in both directions for the time being. Engineers have not been able to estimate when the western tunnel reopens.
