Surprises can be hit or miss. But let's really be – if it is a royal surprise? Count in me. And that is exactly what happened when Prince Harry made an unannounced visit to Ukraine.
According to the BBC, the Duke of Sussex, who spent a decade in the British army, popped up in LVIV to visit the Superhumans Center-a medical facility that does life-changing work for those injured in the war with Russia. The clinic offers prostheses, reconstructive surgery and mental health care, all free leadership of the Ukrainian soldiers.
Harry also did not go solo – he was accompanied by members of the Invictus Games Foundation, the charity he launched in 2014 to support wounded veterans through sport.

The visit comes on the heels of a more complicated chapter for the prince. Last week he jerked off as the founder and patron of Sentebale, a charity that he co-founded in 2006 with Prince Seeiso in honor of their deceased mothers. In a statement, Harry has tackled the tensions with the leadership of the organization and has spoken in heartache about what he described as “flagrant lies” and expressing the hope that an investigation into the Charity Commission will help restore the mission that they wanted to reach almost two decades ago.
“From the start of Sentebale almost 20 years ago, Prince Seeiso and I had a clear goal: to support the children and young people in South Africa in memory of our mothers. What happened last week has been heartbreaking to be witness, especially when such flagging lies have invested in this shared shared.
“On behalf of the former managers and customers, we share in the relief that the Charity Commission has confirmed that they will conduct a robust investigation,” the statement continued. “We fully expect it to reveal the truth that we forced together to resign. We remain hopeful that this can be placed in the right hands because of the communities we serve.”
