PlayStation Network works after 24 hours a day, says Sony

The PlayStation Network, on which users of the Sony PlayStation platform are dependent on playing games, downloading content and access apps, started working again on Saturday evening after a 24-hour drop that made customers frustrated.

“All services are active,” PlayStation announced on her website around 7 pm on Saturday. The problems that many customers prevented from launching games, apps or network functions' were reported for the first time at 7 p.m. on Friday, the company said.

“PSN has been restored”, the company's support team placed on X on Saturday at 6.58 pm at 6.58 pm. “You should now have access to online functions without any problems.”

The company did not explain the cause of the malfunction and did not immediately respond to an e -mail to search for more information.

The problems found users of the most popular range of PlayStation, including the console and web products. Account management, gaming and social, PlayStation video, PlayStation Store and PlayStation immediately belonged to the affected services.

PlayStation makes software and hardware, including hugely popular game consoles. Users play video games and perform apps such as Netflix, Spotify and YouTube via the PlayStation Network.

On social media, some users reported that they could use their PlayStation on Saturday afternoon, but many still encountered problems in the evening.

During the malfunction, some users reported that they were unable to play offline games, proof of how serious the server problems were, because offline games usually do not experience the same problems that online games will sometimes experience.

While users complained on social media, other brands shot troll messages.

“All gamers call: this playing station still works,” Krispy Kreme placed on X. Krispy Kreme offered two hours of free glazed donuts on Saturday “because sweet rewards do not need a server.”
