    The police have released CCTV images of a man they want to ask [Avon and Somerset Police]

    The police have released a CCTV image of a man with whom they want to speak in connection with a sexual attack on a teenager.

    The attack took place around 22:00 BST on August 16 in St James' Park in the center of Bristol, close to the main bus station.

    The police said that the man they want to ask is in his thirty and “believed as Asian heritage.” It is about 5ft 4-6 ins long and wore black clothing and wore a black backpack.

    Det Con Cannon Dayus of the Avon and Somerset police said: “This is a terrible incident that caused need and upset for the victim and her family.”

    Det Con Dayus added: “We would like to ensure the community that although we have not received comparable reports with other victims, one incident is too much and a full investigation is underway.”

    The police said that the victim was referred to services for people who have suffered sexual violence.

    CCTV images and searches on social media have been carried out, together with witness interviews.
