Olivia Munn and her partner, John Mulaney, recently took their 13-month-old son, Malcolm, to his first Asian market on a healthy family outing.
Munn, 42, further documented the journey Instagram during the weekend.
In the caption of her recent post, the Asian-American actor said this was the “first trip to the Asian market” for Malcom, whose middle name she revealed Hiệp in late 2021. While Munn did not reveal the name of the location in the caption, she mentioned in a comment that the video was filmed on a H Mart.

Set to Meghan Trainor’s viral hit “Made You Look,” the 23-second video begins with Munn walking down an aisle of the market wearing Malcolm.
The ‘Tales of the Walking Dead’ star then takes Malcolm to the live seafood section, where he is shown fish, lobsters and other animals in their tanks. Soon after, he points in a different direction and the video shows the store’s packaged fish corner.
Munn and her 40-year-old stand-up comedian partner take turns carrying their child during their visit to the market. Part of the video shows Mulaney carrying Malcolm and showing him some packaged items.

The last part of the video shows Munn letting her son grab an item from a shelf. He accidentally drops it on the floor because his hand is still too small to grasp it properly.
Several Instagram users commented on Munn’s post, which has already garnered more than 1 million views and 73,000 likes.
“I love that you are exposing him to the cornerstones of your childhood and his [sic] heritage,” one user wrote.

“Argh, boys are no longer such a cute family. K, thanks,” said another user.
While most fans praised the wholesome family outing, others reportedly criticized Munn because she had shown her son live animals that would eventually be killed for food.
“Asian market, where you can find many dead animals [sic] watch them suffer. What a mess,” commented one Instagram user, while another commented, “How traumatizing. A way to teach him how we treat wildlife. Cheeky.’
“Please make your son and yourself + family #GoVegan. For his health, for the animals and for our environment/the earth. Thanks,” wrote another user.
