Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Osbi Covered Research into State Superintendent Ryan Walters

    OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) have concluded the investigation to State Superintendent Ryan Walters and were transferred their findings to the Oklahoma County District AtteRict.

    OCSO was asked to investigate the allegations by two board members who said they saw nude women on a TV in the Walters office during a July State School Board meeting.

    On Tuesday, August 5, house speaker Kyle Hilber said that a third -party cyber security company carried out a forensic analysis of the situation and has drawn up a 32 -page report. The report said that the TV showed a film channel that on July 24, two films played between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. with moderate sex and nudity.

    On Friday, OCSO posted on social media and announced that they closed their research and now transfer their findings to the office of the public prosecutor. Osbi also said that they have transferred the investigation to the DA's office.

    “Osbi, in combination with OCSO, has transferred the investigation to the DA office,” said Hunter McKee with Osbi.

    It is currently unclear what the findings are currently, because both departments have transferred the case to the office of the district procurer of Oklahoma County.

    “After a thorough investigation, our office is now transferring its findings to the office of the Oklahoma County District district.

    The office of the public prosecutor told News 4 on Friday that there is no timeline on how long the assessment will take.

    “The DA has met the researchers today. Now our office will revise the investigation to determine whether costs will be submitted or not. There is no timeline about how long that will take,” said Brook Arbeitman, director of communication with the office of Oklahoma County District Attorney.
