Mother who died with skydiving instructor after Parachute 'did not open'

    Belinda Taylor was one of the two people who died in a skydiving accident in Devon

    A mother of four and her skydiving instructor who were killed after their parachute was not opened were depicted.

    Tandem -Jumpers Belinda Taylor and Adam Harrison fell 15,000 feet on their death on Friday afternoon at the airport of Dunkeswell, near Honiton, Devon.

    Colleague airplane passengers said that the parachute and the reserve parachute of the couple did not open and both were declared dead on the spot.

    Tribute has arrived for Mrs. Taylor, 48, including her partner, Scott Armstrong.

    “I miss you so much, you were my best friend,” he posted on social media.

    'Thank you for everything you are [have] done for me, [from] Which makes my children feel at home to tolerate my mess.

    “I am so lost without you. I feel so lost, I don't know where is at home without you.”

    He told The Mirror that he had bought the Skydive as a gift for his girlfriend “Adrenaline Junkie”.

    Mr. Armstrong added that he was watching the leap with binoculars when he saw that one of the jumpers had not opened their parachute.

    Mrs. Taylor was the mother of three adult boys and a teenage girl and grandmother for two children.

    Connor Bowles, her eldest son, brought her homage to her and told Devonlive: “On Friday, June 13, our family lost our mother Belinda Taylor.

    “She was a selfless woman who only wanted the best for others and especially her loved ones. She will be deeply missed and leave an eternal impression on all those she has met in life.”

    Harrison had worked as a Skydiving instructor since September 2020, according to his LinkedIn. He also trained as a Chiropractor student.

    A passenger who jumped out of the same plane as the victims just wanted to stay anonymous, De Telegraaf said: “They were both beautiful smart people you could see that you were on the plane.

    “They were full of smiling and jokes and were both clearly enthusiastic about this experience. They continued to make jokes and laugh up to 15,000 ft for the entire flight.”

    Another said that Mrs. Taylor was excited for the fatal jump and had talked to other skydivers with other skydivers about their upcoming jump.

    The incident is being investigated by the British Skydiving Board of Enquiry.

    A spokesperson for the police of Devon & Cornwall said: “Unfortunately, the Skydivers were both deceased on the spot. Scene guards remain in place and there are questions to go through the relevant agencies.”
