Twitter users praise former White House intern Monica Lewinsky for the gracious post she made about the man who exposed her affair with Bill Clinton.

Tuesday’s announcement of the death of Ken Starr, the attorney who led the high-profile investigation that led to Clinton’s 1998 charges of perjury, inspired Lewinsky to post her thoughts on social media.

Given that Starr’s research has helped make Lewinsky a target for public disgrace and that her encounters with him have been “patriotic and creepy,” it would be understandable if she wanted to take a few things off her chest for the sake of the closing.

However, she didn’t. But what she did do was a masterclass in how to be graceful in a challenging situation:

Many were impressed by her comments and said they wish they could be just as stylish under similar circumstances.

In the past, Lewinsky has not been afraid to comment on Starr when he was in the news, such as when he agreed to defend Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial in January 2020.
