After a short investigation, the murder suspect was identified as Clinton Matt “Hank” Landrum, who had already left the stage before delegates arrived.
He was eventually found and arrested by law enforcement in Wayne County for murder Monday afternoon, and officials say he will probably be charged.
“Everyone in the audience is asked to come forward and tell us all the information they have about the business,” said true County Sheriff Carl James. “I would also like to thank Sheriff Chuck Chuck Moseley, his exceptional representatives and other law enforcement in Wayne County for their efforts to have Landrum arrested to see the charge of the murder here in true County.”
WCSO expects that he will be transferred to the prison of true County on Monday on Monday and will have a first performance in court on Tuesday.
