A local Colorado news anchor reminded viewers of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) of the past of the racist “replacement theory” that allegedly inspired the massacre at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, last weekend.
“There are some conservative political figures who are hinting at this theory or talking about it in code. And then there’s Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado,” Kyle Clark told 9News in Denver this week.
Clark cut to footage of Boebert speaking last year about the baseless conspiracy theory that Democrats are trying to replace white Americans with immigrants.
Boebert rages in the clip:
They want to grant amnesty and a path to citizenship to 8 million illegal aliens. Yes, there is definitely a replacement theory going on right now. We are killing American jobs and bringing in illegal aliens from all over the world to replace them when Americans won’t comply.
Clark lamented, “That was Colorado Congressman Lauren Boebert openly espousing the replacement theory by name in 2021.”
