Live music sessions begin at 5 popular destinations on Blue Ridge Parkway

    BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY – Intimate outdoor concerts featuring regional musicians at popular destinations along the Blue Ridge Parkway begin Sunday, June 5.

    The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation and Blue Ridge Music Center are launching free Milepost Music live sessions on alternate Sunday afternoons.

    Performers include The McKenzies, Twin Creeks Stringband, The Bouncers, Big Ron Hunter, Ashlee Watkins & Andrew Small, Harmony Hill, Beverly Street String Band, His and Hers, Root 2 Music, Eric + Addie, Uncle Henry’s Favorites and more.

    The first session will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 5, at the Peaks of Otter at Milestone 86 in Bedford, Va.

    Milepost Music sessions are offered from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, on the following dates, from June to September.
