Newport News, from. (Wavy)-his life-threatening injuries as a result of a crash with several vehicles on Interstate 64 Westbound in Newport News Friday evening, said the State Police of Virginia.
The State Police said that they are investigating a crash with several vehicles between Mijl Marker 250 and Mijl Marker 249 at I-64 Westbound in Newport News. The call for the crash came in at around 8:59 PM with several vehicles with life -threatening injuries.
The Virginia Department of Transportation is on site when redirecting traffic while the State Police is investigating the crash.
Vdot said that all Western I-64 riding strips were closed from 10:10 pm
It is currently unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash and how many people were injured. The State Police said that if available, they would provide more details.
