West’s short animated video for his new song, “Easy,” takes on his now-ex-wife’s love interest.
After a short hearing she virtually attended, Kim Kardashian was legally single yesterday by the Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Steve Cochran.
Kanye Westher now ex-husband, was not present.
However, the legendary rapper/producer, who recently officially changed his name to thoureleased an animated short video for his new song, “Easy,” on Wednesday, a clip expressing his thoughts on the decision, according to TMZ†
Towards the end of the video, West’s claymation character appears to be dragging a rope-bound body with a bag over his head. He removes the bag to reveal what appears to be an animated version Pete Davidson buried up to his neck in the ground. You then sprinkle “rose seeds” over the Saturday Night Live head of the cast member.
Later, West’s character proceeds to clip roses grown from Davidson’s head into the ground, and they are placed in a pickup truck that slowly drives away. According to TMZcould the rose scene be related to the truckload of roses West sent to Kardashian for Valentine’s Day.
The grand gesture was delivered in a black pickup truck with the words “MY VISION IS KRYSTAL KLEAR” printed on the side.
Reaction to the new video and West’s other recent actions has been mixed.
“SORRY NOT SORRY!!! How is he not stopped!!! Now he’s releasing a music video where he kidnaps Pete Davidson and buries him alive. It’s not art. He’s scary and unstable,” true crime reporter Stephanie Bauer wrote down Twitter†
“Kanye making a video of him beheading his ex-wife’s alleged boyfriend while making threats and saying ‘your security needs security’ is so sick and insulting. This man is really a terrible person’ wrote another user.
Comedian and radio personality DL Hughley recently shared his thoughts in a short, viral clip, saying: partially“He’s stalking her. You may find it cute. If it was my daughter, I’d do something about it. I think you can write a beat that’s so good that you can do these things.”
According to ABC newsWest’s new lawyer, Stephanie Spector, filed a petition with the court to grant the right to question a new spouse if Kardashian remarries. Judge Cochran wondered if that had ever happened. Spector admitted she didn’t believe it was. The judge declined the idea.
In her divorce papers, Kardashian, per CNN“I really want a divorce. I asked Kanye to keep our divorce a secret, but he didn’t. Kanye has posted a lot of misinformation about our private family affairs and co-parenting on social media, leading to emotional issues.”
“I believe the court ending our marital status will help Kanye accept that our marital relationship is over and move forward on a better path that will help us peacefully co-parent our children,” her file said.
The couple married on May 24, 2014 in a lavish ceremony in Italy and share four children.
