
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested on Friday for a complaint for domestic violence, according to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office in Texas.
WORTHY, 21, was arrested in Georgetown, Texas, and accused of “abuse against a family or member of the household by hindering their breathing or blood circulation,” said online prison registers.
No details about the arrest were posted on the website. CNN has contacted the Sheriff office for more information.


Worthy's lawyers, Chip Lewis and Sam Bassett, CNN told us in a statement on Saturday that they are aware of the allegations against their client and his innocence.
“We will continue to collaborate with the authorities of Williamson County, because we are fully confident that their thorough investigation will support Mr Worthy's innocence,” said the statement.
In statements to CNN on Saturday, the Chiefs said they “are aware and collect information”, while the NFL wrote: “We are aware of the business and have been in contact with the club.”
Kansas City has set up the University of Texas in Austin worthy in the first round of the NFL design of 2024. Parts of Austin, Texas, are in Williamson County.
In his Rookie season, Worthy led the broad recipients of Kansas City in catches (59), who received recruiting (638) and received touchdowns (six). He also had 20 Carry's for 104 Yards with three hasty touchdowns.
