The IDF clarified that the soldiers involved were not drone operators, and it is unclear how the three access to the squadron got without the correct authorization.

High officials in the IAF were shocked by the accusations presented to the researchers, because the unity was involved in operations in the Seven Front War of Israel.

The IAF quickly emphasized that these were not drone operators. Yet it is unclear how they have access the squadron without the correct authorization or what the procedures for checking and security were.

The IDF is investigating the incident

The IDF refused to comment on the motives of the soldiers, but an official military source stated that the case is currently being investigated.
