Israel hits Yemen after Houthis has fired a new type of rocket

Israel hit the Houthis van Yemen on Sunday after the Iran supported by Iran had fired a new type of rocket in Israel.

The Israeli army said it made a military location where the presidential palace is located, as well as two power plants and a fuel storage location.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said: “The strikes were performed in response to repeated attacks by the terrorist regime of Houthi against the state of Israel and its citizens.”

More than 10 fighter jets participated in the strikes, according to an Israeli Air Force official, who said that the furthest target was about 2,000 kilometers (1,240 miles) of Israel.

A television station affiliated with the Houthis, which checks the city, said “Zionist aggression was going on in the capital Sanaa.”

Mohammad al-Farrah, a member of Houthi's leadership, said that the Houthis would continue to support the people of Gaza and “would not withdraw until the aggression has been lifted, the siege is broken and the hunger of Gaza's people is stopped.”

The strikes follow the launch of the Houthis of a rocket against Israel on Friday.

An Israeli Air Force Officer said that for the first time a Houthi rocket contained a number of sub-ammunitions, which were intended to explode at impact.

The police in the Tel Aviv district said on Friday that they were different locations where the intercepting clips had landed. No injuries were reported.
