Story: Taiwan's Foxconn launched his first major language model on Monday (March 10).
It said that it is planning to use the technology to improve production and supply chain management.
Foxconn said in a statement that the model is called 'Foxbrain', and they completed it in about four weeks.
It is an important step for the tech giant, which already produces the AI servers of Nvidia and assembles iPhones for Apple.
Foxconn said the model is based on the Lama 3.1 architecture of Meta.
It is Taiwan's first major language model with reasoning options.
And is optimized for traditional Chinese and Taiwanese language styles.
Foxconn said that a slight performance gap was compared to the distillation model made by the Deepseek of China.
But the overall performance added is very close to world class standards.
The company is now planning to work with Tech partners to expand the applications of the model.
