House in northern Israel damaged by Hezbollah rocket attack

A barrage of rockets fired from Lebanon on Wednesday, September 4, caused damage and sparked fires in northern Israel, Israeli media and the Israeli Defense Forces (Israeli army) reported.

The Israeli army said it intercepted some of the approximately 65 launches and that some landed in open areas, causing fires.

Hezbollah on Wednesday claimed responsibility for firing multiple rockets into northern Israel.

At least one home was directly hit in Kiryat Shmona, the Times of Israel reported, citing local authorities. No injuries were reported in the barrage, the outlet said.
