TOPEKA — Winter weather swept the Topeka area and the state this weekend. With schools closed due to the weather, sporting events were also cancelled.
There was only one varsity track and field event scheduled for Monday. Washburn Rural girls basketball's scheduled road game against Olathe North has been canceled for Monday evening.
The game will be rescheduled for a later date, but this has not yet been confirmed.
