Salt Lake City (ABC4) – Family mourns the loss of a child that was murdered on Thursday Through a slow -moving vehicle in a driveway in Salt Lake City, and they have used to the community for support.
In one Gofundme campaign Organized by a family member, the child was identified as 1-year-old Jenelle Gonsalez.

“She was our sun, full of love, laughter and innocence. No parent is ever willing to say goodbye to their baby, and we are devastated,” wrote Jacquelyn Martinez, sister -in -law of Jenelle's parents and organizer of the Gofundme.

The family asks for help in covering the costs of funeral and funeral services for Jenelle. Martinez wrote that the donated money would help “Jenelle to give the beautiful and peaceful farewell she deserves.”

Jenelle was hit on Thursday by a slowly moving SUV in a driveway near 350th Wilson Avenue. Life -saving measures were taken on the spot and she was brought to the hospital in a critical condition, where she later died.
According to the police, the director was related to Jenelle and he remained on stage after the crash and worked with officers.
Brent Weisberg, the police of Salt Lake City, said that this was a “terrible accident” and there is currently no false game suspected.
