Greene reprimanded for saying AFT president is ‘not a mother’

Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., repeatedly said American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten is “not a mother” after the union chief said she is a “mother-in-law.” Two Democrats on the committee, Representatives Robert Garcia and Raul Ruiz, criticized Greene, with Ruiz calling her comments “cruel personal attacks.”
