'Greatest medical event in the history of Anderson County' is coming to Oak Ridge this weekend

    Medical (RAM) remotely (RAM) and Free Medical Clinic or Oak Ridge are working together again to bring a free medical, vision and dental clinic to the Oak Ridge Recreation Center, 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike. People who need the free services will arrive at the parking spaces before 11:59 PM Friday or earlier to be one of the first in line for the free services.

    Billy Edmonds, free director of the medical clinic, has said that it will be the “largest medical event in the history of Anderson County”. It is expected that the Free Ramklinieken will surpass in First Baptist Church in Clinton in recent years and that in Oak Ridge on 18-19 February 2023.

    The clinic offers medical, dental and vision services, a way to get glasses on the same day and a pharmacy on the site, Edmonds said in an earlier news story about the clinic of this weekend. He urged people to take their children and get their vaccines, as well as their sports physics, of which he said they can be expensive.

    All RAM services are free for someone and no ID is required. The parking lot will be opened on Friday at the latest 11:59 PM and will remain open for the duration of the clinic. Once in the parking lot, patients receive additional information about clinic processes and subsequent steps, according to RAM information. Open clinic doors at 6 am and services are offered on the basis of who comes first, first grinds until the capacity is reached.

    Sunday's clinic is open a shorter day – perhaps closing at 2 p.m. or earlier, according to a press release from the city of Oak Ridge – so patients are advised to arrive as early as possible.

    Due to time limitations, patients must be willing to choose between tooth and vision services, but all patients receive general medical care.

Individuals do not have to work in the medical field to do volunteer work as general support, according to the release.
