Fox News host Laura Ingraham expressed her doubts about whether voters are ready to support Trump in 2024.

Ingraham, a vocal Trump supporter, said voters are “exhausted” by the “constant battle” in politics.

She said Americans could instead turn to a GOP candidate who follows Trump’s policy style.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham said on Monday that American voters are “exhausted” by political conflict and may believe it will be “time to turn the page” on former President Donald Trump if he goes to the White House in 2024.
While Ingraham continued to speak for Trump’s policies and defend his decisions, the former president’s longtime vocal supporter expressed some doubt as to whether Republican voters would choose Trump in favor of another strong GOP candidate.
“People confuse Trump with the general happiness of people in the country. Donald Trump has been a friend of mine for 25 years, and I’ve always been very open about this on my show,” Ingraham said on a podcast hosted by Lisa Boothe, a Fox News contributor.
“But you know, we’ll see if the country will,” Ingraham continued. “The country, I think, is so exhausted – they’re exhausted by the struggle, the constant struggle – that maybe they believe that, well, maybe it’s time to turn the page if we can get someone who does all the policies.” of Trump, who is not Trump.”
Ingraham said Trump’s political views — not the man himself — were at the heart of his political opponents’ stance.
“The other problem is that it’s really not about Trump, is it? This is about the views Trump now put forward for the Republican Party,” Ingraham said.
The Fox News host accused leftist proponents of thinking that “the American way of life is immoral,” which is in line with the typical right-wing and pro-Trump rhetoric that many traditional customs and values in the US are attacked by liberals.
“It doesn’t matter in the end whether it’s Trump making a populist conservative point or it’s DeSantis or someone like him, they’re going to go full out against any Republican,” Ingraham said, referring to Florida governor Ron. DeSantis.
Ingraham has consistently expressed her support for Trump’s policies, which she has often praised for being “pro-America.” However, she has not said that she would support Trump if he became president in 2024.
“I’m not saying I’m still there for him,” she said in January when asked if she would support Trump, who has suggested but not stated that he will participate in the race.
DeSantis, who mentioned Ingraham in her podcast appearance, has also declined to confirm whether he would run for president in 2024, amid speculation that he would become one of the GOP’s frontrunners.
