Former NFL Quarterback Jay Cutler was sentenced to four days in prison as part of a plea on Tuesday, according to CNN Affiliate WSMV 4, after being accused of driving under the influence and possession of a firearm in 2024.
Cutler was arrested in October last year after the police said the car he was driving, another vehicle in Franklin, Tennessee.

A police statement said at the time that officers responded to the accident and discovered the smell of alcohol on Cutler, who also had blood -running eyes and was slurping words.
According to the police, the former QB refused a field sample test on site and was later taken to a hospital, where a blood sample was taken after the authorities received a house search order.
The police investigation also found two firearms in the Cutler vehicle, including a charged gun.
According to the police report, Cutler tried to flee the scene after he had offered the other director $ 2,000 so as not to call the police.
According to WSMV 4, Cutler committed guilty under the influence on Tuesday. As part of the plea for the plea, the indictment against firearms was withdrawn.

Cutler was a highly promoted QB prospect of Vanderbilt University in the mid -2000s. He was selected in the first round, 11th General, in the NFL design of 2006 by the Denver Broncos.

He only played three seasons in Denver before he was traded to the Chicago Bears where he made a name for himself.
In his eight seasons with the bears, he became the leading passer of the franchise of all time with 23,443 Yards and 154 Touchdowns.
He would play for 12 seasons in the competition for the Broncos, Bears and Miami Dolphins, who passed 35.133 Yards and 227 touchdowns. His last season in the NFL was 2017.
