Prime Video has dropped an extensive teaser for the long -awaited second season of FalloutGeneral considered as one of the best TV adjustments of a gaming franchise. In our 2024-end of the year at the end of the year, Ars Senior Editor Samuel Axon wrote that the first season gave us' a specific cocktail of tong-in-rang humor, sci-fi campiness, strong themes, great characters and visceral violence [that] Came together in a fantastic show. “The second season looks like it will bring us more of the same, pulled out of the Fallout: New Vegas game. We even got a glimpse of a DeathClaw.

For the Non -Intachden, Fallout Two centuries after nuclear warfare between the US and China, civilization destroyed in 2077-an alternative history version of 2077, in which nuclear technology heralded a retrofuturistic society after the Second World War. Some happy survivors sought refuge in different underground safes; Others were left to compensate for a lean existence on the highly radioactive surface.
In S1 we met Lucy Maclean (Ella Purnell), a young woman whose safe is attacked by surface -residents. The Raiders kill many vault -residents and kidnap her father Hank (Kyle Maclachlan), so the sheltered Lucy goes looking for him. Life on the surface is quite brutal, but Lucy learns quickly. Along the way she finds an ally (and love interest) in Maximus (Aaron Moten), a squire that presents itself as a knight of the brotherhood of steel. And she runs Afoul from a Gunslinger and Bounty Hunter known as The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), a former Hollywood actor named Cooper Howard who survived the original nuclear explosion, but the exposure to radiation changed him, well, a creep.
