    • Eric Trump and former President Donald Trump golfed on Thursday prior to the LIV Golf Tournament.

    • Photos show Eric Trump’s golf bag with “Trump 2024” on it.

    • This is the latest hint that the former president plans to run for a third time in 2024.

Photos of Eric Trump’s golf bag strongly indicate that his father plans to run for president in 2024.

The photos, which show “Trump 2024” under an American flag patch on a navy blue golf bag, suggest former President Donald Trump plans to put his hat back in the ring.

Trump has not officially announced his plans to participate for the third time, but those in his inner circle expect an announcement soon.

However, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Kellyanne Conway are among the growing chorus of voices urging him to wait until after the midterms to announce his candidacy.

The photos of the golf bag, the latest indication that an announcement in 2024 is almost certain, were taken Thursday at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey.

The father and son declined for the controversial Saudi-backed LIV tournament, which began Friday.

Insider reported that critics had called LIV Golf an example of “sportswashing” — taking advantage of the public’s love of sports to enhance Saudi Arabia’s global reputation and act as a distraction from its human rights abuses.

The former president using the presidential seal on his golf equipment at LIV Golf has also sparked controversy. His EZ-GO cart and towel, for example, were branded with the presidential seal.

The logo is only intended to be used for official government business. Using it at a private event could violate federal law and, in theory, result in fines or up to six months in prison.

Insider contacted the former president’s office on Saturday morning for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
