Enterprise Products says that China export could fall due to license -requirement

Houston (Reuters) -inerprise Products partners on Thursday said that the export of Ethane and Butane can be hurt by a requirement from the US Department of Trade that she is requesting a license to export to China.

The United States has ordered a broad piece of companies to stop sending goods, including Ethane and Butane, to China without a permit and withdrawn permits that have already been granted to certain suppliers, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

Enterprise, who owns the export terminals of Marine Export that handle ethhane and butane, said in a regulatory application that it evaluated his procedures and internal checks and could not determine whether it will be able to obtain a license.

In 2024, the Navy Export Terminal of Enterprise on Houston ship channel loaded approximately 213,000 ethums per day, of which about 85,000 BPD, or 40%, were exported to the Chinese markets, Enterprise said.
