Elon Musk's X becomes a weapon in the costs of the government.

While Elon Musk digs in the federal bureaucracy in his crusade to defeat government spending, he has a tool that has not had a prospective cost futter earlier: his own gigantic social media platform for debating, shame and Bludgeon everyone who stands in the way.

Since the inauguration, Mr. Musk Journalists and X users attacked for placing the names of people who work with him and call it 'a crime'. He is accused of violating civil servants from the Ministry of Finance of “every hour of every day of the law.” And Mr. Musk has mocked Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat from New York, as 'hysterical'.

On Monday, Mr. Musk celebrated his progress and posted that he had fed the American Bureau for International Development, the main agency of the government for humanitarian aid, “in the woodcocker.”

And on Tuesday Mr. Musk A poll on X: “Do you want to check the IRS?”

The comments show how Mr. Musk, who, in contrast to traditional government figures, rarely holds news conferences or speaks to reporters, have been used as a powerful tool to promote his goals as part of the Trump administration. Since the inauguration, Mr. Musk a barrage of posts unleashed his more than 215 million followers, promoting conspiration rumors about his opponents, putting pressure on senators to confirm and weigh the President's Cabinet and weigh on foreign elections.

Moreover, Mr. Musk's account will be one of the few sources for information about the secret rush of the billionaire to lower the federal budget, an initiative that he calls the Ministry of Government Efficiency.

X has given Mr. Musk an unusual path to show his unapologically confrontational approach to cost savings in a way that appeals to the basis of President Trump, said the experts of the technical policy.

“The performative aspect of this is the key. It is a large part of what populism is, “said Sarah Kreps, the director of the Cornell Brooks School Tech Policy Institute. “It is important for the constituency to have this highly visible shake-up that the administration has risen in power.”

Mr. Musk and a spokeswoman for the cost -saving initiative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The transformation of Mr. Musk of X in his political megaphone started when he bought the social media company in October 2022. The following year he became the most followed person on the site. Involvement with his messages has since reported, according to the statistics of X, making him the loudest voice on the platform.

Now Mr. Musk, Chief Executive of Tesla and SpaceX, has sued his new role to reduce government spending, quickly switching to transforming at least half a dozen government agencies, challenging the conference authority and potential violation of the officials protection .

His project has worked to close USAID leaders of the cost-saving initiative, also pushed top officials there and at the Treasury Department that objected to the actions of its representatives, and put an end to lease contracts about the spaces of the government.

As part of those efforts, Mr. Musk is used X account to criticize federal agencies in its cruciate hairs. Usaid is 'malignant' and 'a criminal organization', Mr. Musk wrote in separate posts on Sunday.

Legislers, including representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrat van New York, and Mr Schumer have accused Mr. Musk of over-range.

At the beginning of Tuesday, Mr. Musk made a remark from Mr Schumer, who said that the congress had to stop what came down to an unauthorized hostile takeover of the government.

“Hysterical reactions such as this is how you know that doge work does that really matter,” said Mr. Musk in response to Mr Schumer. “This is one shot that American people have to defeat bureaucracy, rule of the bureaucrats and restore democracy, rule of the people.”

Mr. Musk's business portfolio, who is partly dependent on government contracts and subsidies, has the conflict of interests, although Mr. Trump has deposed those fears.

After Mrs. Ocasio-Cortez criticized Mr. Musk's conflicts, Mr. Musk replied: “Do you actually write this or do I answer your trainee?”

Mr. Musk also turned to the platform in recent days to defend those who work on his initiative. The billionaire has compared to identifying those who help his cost-saving efforts to doxxen, an online intimidation tactics that relates to the placement of private information such as addresses and telephone numbers.

After the names of various employees were published in media reports, X deleted some messages on the platform that published the identity of the employees and suspended some accounts that had shared the information.

“Do not mess with @doge,” Mr. Musk wrote on Monday evening in a message in response to people who try to name and be ashamed of employees.

Mr. Musk also poured X on the removal of the account for 18F, an agency for digital services that is part of the General Services Administration. After fans had expressed concern about projects that the agency had worked on, including one that criticized racial bias in face recognition systems, Mr. Musk posted that the agency was 'removed'.

Although the X account has disappeared, the desk has survived so far.
