A group of investors led by Elon Musk has made a bid of $ 97.4 billion to buy the non -profit organization that controls OpenAI, according to two people familiar with the bid, escalating a long -standing struggle between Mr. Musk and the director from OpenAi, Sam Altman.
The consortium includes VY Capital and Xai, the AI company of Mr. Musk, and other investors, said the people who spoke on condition of anonymity because the discussions are underway.
