Donald Trump fumes over Biden's exit from race in unhinged late-night tirade: 'It's not over yet!'

Donald Trump continued to ignore talk of political unity as he launched his tirade late Sunday night against President Joe Biden after he withdrew from the 2024 race.

The former president spread conspiracy theories and insulted Biden through his platform Truth Social.

“It's not over yet! Tomorrow Crooked Joe Biden will wake up and forget he dropped out of the race today!” Trump wrote, facing questions about his mental fitness.

Trump then claimed that Biden, who is still being treated for COVID-19 after testing positive on Wednesday, “never had” the disease.

The former president was once hospitalized with COVID-19 and downplayed the problem after hundreds of thousands of Americans died during his time in the White House.

“He is a threat to democracy!” Trump declared in the post.

The GOP candidate continued his tirade by promoting another conspiracy theory about the president: “Who's running our country now? It's not Crooked Joe, he has no idea where he is. If he can't run for office, he can't run our country!!!”

Trump's meltdown came hours after Biden's historic announcement and endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris, a move that has already drawn attacks from Republicans, including at least one who likened it to a “coup d'état.”

Trump's campaign released a statement earlier in the day calling Harris a “joke” and “Crooked Joe's primary enabler all along.”
