The Doña Ana County Board of County Commissioners will hold interviews this weekend for the open position of county manager.
The province recently announced four finalists for the position and the public is encouraged to participate in the process.
The Board of County Commissioners will host the finalists for the position of county manager over two days, August 9-10.

On August 9, the board will hold interviews in closed sessions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Doña Ana County Government Center. Each finalist will then give a 15-minute presentation in a public session from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

There will be two community meetings in the county on August 10th. Residents are encouraged to submit their questions for the candidates in advance via the county website. All questions will be reviewed by the county commissioners and considered during the interview process.
The first meeting will be held at the Doña Ana County Government Center from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. There will be a question and answer session from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a meet and greet.
The second meeting will be held at Doña Ana County #2 in Anthony from 1:00-3:00pm with a question and answer session from 1:00-2:30pm.
The province hopes to identify a candidate during the August 13 meeting that can take the project a step further, with possible contract approval at the end of August.
