If you have federal student debt, you’re probably anxiously awaiting the Supreme Court to decide whether the Biden administration has the authority to forgive up to $20,000 of those loans.
It’s been more than three years since most borrowers had to make loan payments, which were interrupted at the start of the pandemic. But once the highest court has issued its ruling, which is expected at the end of June, monthly payments are likely to resume within months.
