DJT, Gamestop and more race to buy Bitcoin

    00:00 Speaker A

Bitcoin withdrew after touching new all-time highlights last week, the cryptocurrency now acts just above 107,000. These are top government officials and crypto -heavyweights attend the Bitcoin conference of 2025 in Las Vegas. Now that we are participating, on the ground we have Chris Klein, Bitcoin IRA co-founder and COO. Chris, good to have you here with us. I just want to start with some of the most important collection restaurants of energy on the ground there.

    00:29 Chris Kline

Absolute. Well, as you can see behind me, this is the line that forms for UH Vice President JD Vance will take the stage here in about 15, 20 minutes. It actually goes down, wrapping around the exhibition and almost to the casino floor. So a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Interestingly enough I see many more sports jackets this year. That is why I set up one today, which I think is an indication of the large banks -stores or the institutional players who are really starting to appear here in the crypto room.

    00:57 Speaker A

Okay, more sports jackets, fewer hoodies, that's how it sounds. Okay, so that is the at least clothing tribe that we have seen here a huge shift. As you know, more companies are moving to keep Bitcoin on their balance. We know that there are recent announcements that are probably knocking around and are also talked about on the ground. Trump Media who picks up $ 2.5 billion from Bitcoin, Gamestop announced their first Bitcoin purchase. How should retail investors think about these names and how is it discussed there?

    01:30 am Chris Kline

Yes, it seems that this race to reserve still continues. The announcements of DJT and Gamestop this morning clearly indicate that we are in a room where people are racing to put this on the balance. And it's not just a Bitcoin game. UH see your groups UH Ethereum and Solana start to attract attention. This is a conversation, not just a theory, which happens in board rooms throughout America. UH Michael Sailor's strategy has really been proven that this is a solid practice. UH and it should be very interesting to see where we will be at the end of this year when we start to get income reports from this.

    2:04 AM Speaker A

You know, one of our Nieuwshoofden here spoke earlier in the newsroom in the Newsroom just about this premium that is usually annexed to some of the companies when they add Bitcoin to their balance. Why do you think that is?

    02:24 Chris Kline

Oh, I think I mean, every company that is in the Bitcoin space now also gets premiums. I just had the pleasure of eating and drinking with the president, CEO of Etoro here in the United States. So in general, with the hype and the expected price movements ahead, as we were talking about when I saw you last month, the 180,000 of my target for this year. UH that is an enormous growth in the balance for these groups, and I think it is priced in their models.

    3:01 AM Speaker A

You know, while we continue to see visuals from the line that arises behind you, and that is for vice -president JD Vance, while we think about the number of different profiles that tried to annex themselves in the crypto growth we have seen, or are the face of crypto. There is nothing left, so that tries to do that than the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and President Donald Trump. Is that net good or bad from what you hear about at the conference, especially knowing that there are previous profiles that have had tragic falls in the course of their own professionalism and the lack thereof, I should say, within the crypto space?

    3:56 AM Chris Kline

Yes, absolutely. You know, I was in Nashville last year. This is my fourth conference. And I think a lot of the buzz that are around, because Donald Trump then came to us as a candidate, it was much more, even the audience, you felt that there was a segment that UH people were there for Trump and then people who were there for Bitcoin. This year, with JD Vance who comes to us, and this administration generally shows, at least instructions that they will be more pro-crypto and friendly to us if we continue, which is in stark contrast to what we saw in the last administration four years ago. But hope is not a strategy. Most people who look at Bitcoin are in 20, 30, sometimes 40-year-old cycles that they just hold and hodling and wait until that moment in time where we may reach a Bitcoin of a million dollars or a $ 10 million bitcoin. UH and so we will have a lot of administrations between then and now. UH and so hope is not a strategy. Building and doing things such as pension planning with crypto are great tools to use to your advantage. But yes, it is interesting to see how it all eliminated in the coming months.

    5:06 AM Speaker A

And so what is the best way for someone who is only trying to find out what their exposure to cryptocurrency and bitcoin should be, if the early innings are when building that part of their portfolio and try to find out if I have to buy Uh -shares of a company that holds Bitcoinnen Versusus directly buying an EETTCY?

    5:35 AM Chris Kline

Well, you know, that's great, a great question because we see all three of those channels living here today at the conference. You have UH sponsorship from some ETFs that exist. It is clear that buying shares from a company that also keeps Bitcoin on the balance. Those are great UH tools for you to get some access. But you know, the pure and most UM, I think the direct way is to get Bitcoin in your hands, the real thing, UH buy directly through a trade show like Coinbase, or use it in your pension savings plans with groups like us. All tools are great because they give your exposure to Bitcoin, but in different ways. Uh and let's not forget it, alt season around the corner. Bitcoin will have his runs, and Alts will have their day in the sun here soon.

    6:18 AM Speaker A

Chris, great to see you. Enjoy the conference there is. I look forward to seeing some of your updates online.

    06:25 Chris Kline

Absolute. Thank you very much that you had me today.
